Our story
Volta was started in 2013 by Ciarán Doyle, an electrician from Dundrum with eight years behind him at one of the larger Dublin contracting firms. After years of being sent from job to job on tight schedules, Ciarán wanted to build something smaller — a firm where the same person who quotes the work is the one who does it, and where homeowners aren't left guessing what they're paying for.
That principle still runs Volta today. We're a small team based in Dundrum, working exclusively across South Dublin. We say no to jobs we can't do well, we quote everything in writing before we start, and we leave every site cleaner than we found it.
